		<description><![CDATA[It looks like as one really annoying thunderbird bug will be patched in the near future.
The current version always uses &#8220;Date: header&#8221; as &#8220;mail date&#8221;, which can be easily faked by spammers. The patch will provide the setting &#8220;mailnews.use_received_date&#8221;.  When set to true &#8220;mail date&#8221; will always be obtained from &#8220;Received: header&#8221;.

		<description><![CDATA[If you are running some community building software (like phpbb) which allows to register using an (unpublished) e-mail, you probably check the e-mail once using an activation-message. 
But have you ever tried to keep track of the validity of the e-mail-address? It's hard to do this by hand. So I wrote a small program to automate this. 

It's a small java program, that parses an Mbox file and collects e-mail-addresses that caused an delivery status notification with action: failed. It can distinguish between temporary and persitent problems.]]></description>
